MORE ABOUT BIOKIT

BioKit is a software environment for the construction and exploration of interactive biological models designed for school education. It is a handy tool for setting and running biological experiments and a convenient and easy method for teachers and students to produce stand-alone learning modules to be used in biological education.

1C:BioKit 2.1 contains five virtual labs, which can be used to create models in five areas of general biology: ecology, evolution, sociobiology, genetics, and cytology. BioKit models can be exported as stand-alone learning modules that can be opened in any internet browser. Every model offers the dynamic creation of an interactive virtual environment for students, allowing them to experiment and test their theoretical deductions against a range of biological rules. Thus, these laboratories provide an enhanced learning experience where students can conduct interactive biological experiments in 'virtual reality' – at school, at home, in additional courses, or on the Internet.
